Our MissionRestoring the Arts exists to engage in
the betterment of the Orting community, striving to develop our youth,
strengthen our families, and enrich our elderly through education, training, and
mentoring in the Arts. Our VisionOur vision is to provide a state of the art facility in the city of Orting for children and adults creating an environment for all ages to enjoy and prosper through the arts, and education. Our desire is to foster a community culture in which every child is valued and family supported. We want to ensure a family-like atmosphere is promoted by bridging the gap between children and adults and by connecting people with positive role models. Our CommunityThe city of Orting has a
charming small town appeal that is undergoing a dramatic change in demographics
with continuing growth. Young families comprise a significant percentage of
those coming to Orting in search of affordable housing. The initial target for
Restoring the Arts will be young families with children who are in need of
support from a solid community. As our capacity to create new programs expands,
we will reach the youth and seniors of the community. Restoring the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization founded in the State of Washington in 2005. We are governed by a
Board of Directors that helps guide all activities. |
